Kemal Dinç (1970, Istanbul) gained his first musical experience as a trumpeter in the marching band of Turkan Soray Primary School. He learned to play the bağlama (a traditional Turkish instrument) when he migrated to Germany. After attending the Berufsfachschule für Musik, he continued his education at the Leipzig Felix Mendelssohn College of Music and Theatre, where he completed his master’s degree. He has collaborated with various orchestras such as the Istanbul Symphony and Opera Chamber Music, Izmir State Symphony, Augsburger Philharmoniker, and Die Jungen Fürther Streichhölzer Symphony Orchestra. He composed music for the play “Don Quixote,” performed at the Thüringer Landestheater State Theatre.
From 2005 to 2015, he worked as a founding member and instructor at the Codarts World Music Conservatory in the World Music Department. Upon the commission of the Augsburg Theatre, he composed the Bağlama Concerto (Dasein 2013). Under his musical direction, he established the AABF Bağlama Orchestra and Choir as part of the Yol Bir Sürek Binbir project. He conducted the Cologne Symphony Orchestra and AABF Bağlama Orchestra, alongside Betin Güneş (Lanxess Arena Köln 2019).
In 2019, as part of the 250th anniversary of Beethoven, he was among nine distinguished composers and composed a Symphony Orchestra, Piano, and 3 Instruments (Kemençe, Bağlama, Kanun), which was performed by the Bonn Symphony Orchestra and soloists. He initiated the AABF Bağlama and Choir Certification Training Program as its Music Director.
In 2021, he founded ArtAkademie. He received the 2022 WDR Jazz and World Music Award held nationwide in Germany. As the Department Chair of the Bağlama Main Art Branch in the World Music Department of the Mannheim Pop Academy, where he is a founding member, he continues to teach Makam lessons at the University of Cologne and Wuppertal.

Während seiner Auswanderung nach Deutschland erlernte er das Spielen der Bağlama. Er arbeitete mit verschiedenen Orchestern wie dem Istanbul Symphony and Opera Chamber Music, dem Izmir State Symphony Orchestra, dem Augsburger Philharmoniker und dem Die Jungen Fürther Streichhölzer Symphony Orchestra zusammen. Für das Stück “Don Quichotte” komponierte er Musik am Thüringer Landestheater.
Von 2005 bis 2015 war er Gründungsmitglied und Lehrer im Fachbereich Weltmusik an der Codarts World Music Conservatory. Auf Anfrage des Augsburg Theaters komponierte er das Konzertstück für Bağlama (Dasein 2013). Als Musikdirektor des Projekts “Yol Bir Sürek Binbir” gründete er das AABF Bağlama Orchestra und den Chor. Zusammen mit Betin Güneş leitete er das Cologne Symphony Orchestra und das AABF Bağlama Orchestra (Lanxess Arena Köln 2019).
Im Jahr 2019 wurde er als einer von neun ausgewählten Komponisten im Rahmen des Beethoven-Jahres zum Bonn Symphony Orchestra und den Solisten ernannt und komponierte das Werk “Sinfonie für Orchester, Klavier und 3 Saz (Kemençe, Bağlama, Kanun)”, das aufgeführt wurde. Er startete das AABF Bağlama und Chor Zertifikat Ausbildungsprogramm als Musikdirektor.
Im Jahr 2021 gründete er die ArtAkademie. Er erhielt den WDR Jazz und World Music Award 2022, der deutschlandweit verliehen wurde. Er ist der Leiter der Bağlama Hauptabteilung im Fachbereich World Music an der Mannheim Pop Academy und unterrichtet Makam an den Universitäten Köln und Wuppertal.

Thüringer Landestheater Devlet Tiyatrosu’nda sergilenen “Don Kişot” oyunu için müzik besteledi.
2005-2015 yıllarında Codarts Worldmusic Konservatuvarı Dünya müzikleri bölümünde
kurucu üye ve eğitim görevlisi olarak çalıştı.
Augsburg Tiyatrosu’nun siparişi üzerine Bağlama Konçertosu’nu besteledi (Dasein 2013).
Müzik Direktörlüğünü yaptığı Yol Bir Sürek Binbir projesi kapsamında AABF Bağlama Orkestrası ve Korosu’nu kurdu. Betin Güneş’le birlikte şefliğini yaptığı Köln Senfoni Orkestrası ve AABF Bağlama Orkestrası’nı yönetti (Lanxess Arena Köln 2019)
2019 Beethoven’in 250. Yılında dokuz seçkin besteciler arasında yerini aldı ve bestelediği Senfoni Orkestrası, Piyano ve 3 Saz (Kemençe, Bağlama, Kanun) eseri Bonn Senfoni Orkestrası ve solistler tarafından seslendirildi.
Müzik Direktörlüğünü yaptığı AABF Bağlama ve Koro Sertifika Eğitim Programı’nı başlattı.
2021 yılında ArtAkademie’yi kurdu. Almanya çapında düzenlenen 2022 WDR Caz ve Dünya Müzikleri ödülünü aldı.
Kurucu üyesi olduğu Mannheim Pop Akademie / Dünya Müzikleri bölümünde Bağlama Ana Sanat Dalı Bölüm Başkanlığını sürdürmekte olup Köln ve Wuppertal Üniversitelerinde Makam dersleri vermektedir.
